History of the BRAZIL BOTTREL COFFEE

The Producer:

Marina belongs to the 8th generation of coffee producers. Her grandparents José Alfredo and Cacilda both belonged to traditional coffee-growing families in the Tres Pontas region and were the first to market speciality coffees.

In the past, the founders were only involved in horse breeding, but over the years, analysing the characteristics of their land, they have seen great potential to enter into coffee production. Since 2001, the Bottrel family has been exporting these coffees only to the German market, and it was in 2024, with the help of Andrés, their sailor, that they decided to set up a logistics and distribution centre in the south of Spain, more precisely in Córdoba, to expand their business to Europe, with an annual production of approximately 3,000 bags.
