In our Barismo module trainings we explore speciality coffee from its origins to advanced extraction techniques, addressing key topics such as espresso, latte art, grinder calibration and good working practices. With a hands-on approach, participants will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to grow as professionals or enjoy more coffee at home. Our aim is to offer comprehensive, quality training that combines theory, practice and a passion for coffee.
Start to understand everything that happens in your espresso, during more than 7 hours we will focus on analysing and working on everything that happens in the extractions of the espresso machine, from the origin of the coffee, processing, transport and roasting, to the regulation of grinders and latte art.
Topics: Botany, origin, processing, transport, roasting, mill regulation, understanding of machinery, differences between volume and ratio in espresso, making espresso, working with milk/vegetable beverages.
Practical: Grinder adjustment, espresso sensory analysis, espresso-based beverage production, milk emulsion, latte art and cleaning/maintenance.
Duration: 7 hours + 2 hours of optional practice on days other than the course.
